Water fasting is a type of fasting in which a person is only allowed to consume water for a specific period of time. Usually ranging between 24 to 72 hours. 1.Dehydration: Although it involves water, Fasting may lead to dehydration because water does not contain electrolytes which is also an important factor that promotes Hydration. However you can consume Electrolyte powder which is sugar free and contains sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium while you are fasting . Because it does not contain any calories and helps you stay hydrated.

2.Nutrition Deficiency: Prolonged fasting might lead to lack of essential nutrients.

3.Low energy Levels: It may cause fatigue, Dizziness, lack of concentration, and Difficulty in day to day activity.
